Ladies’ Auxiliary

Reported by Eleftheria Fatsi, President

Many thanks to Olimpia Michaels and her daughter Janet Rissolo, for donating the prosfora for the month of July and to Preoteasa Louisa for donating  the prosfora for the month of August.

Veronica Stilu will make the bread for the month of September. Olimpia Michaels will host the coffee hour for the month of September.
Holy Bread (Prosfora) Donations:  For those who would like to donate the Prosfora for the Divine Liturgy, it can be ordered (three or four loaves) for a fee of $20.00 from the Ladies Auxiliary by calling Eleftheria Fatsi at (203) 336-0296.

Thanks go to Ann Nastu and Gina Cook for helping with the coffee hour during the month of July.

We are happy to hear that Florence Marsala and Chiratsa Jombur have recovered well from their surgery and are now home bound. Please pray for Margaret Pittu who is hospitalized at St. Vincent’s.
Cornelia Zdru donated candles to the church this year and last year that she brought from
Greece, in memory of her sister Maria Vasiliou.

We had a very successful Festival ’07. I would like to thank all the ladies that worked under Preoteasa Mariana baking pitas, bread, cookies, etc. and all who helped to clean and serve.  The festival weather was beautiful, and the food was delicious.

*The next meeting will be held on Sunday, September 23, following the Divine Liturgy.

The Ladies Auxiliary always welcomes new members.  Please join our hardworking organization. The annual membership fee is only $25.00.  With the new church being built in Easton, we could use lots of help and fresh new ideas.
